The deal seems to be an extension of their "below cost" sale. Normally I avoid Anaconda, but you might be able to pick up some bargains with this deal
You can join the club at the point of purchase for free, but they do spam you with junk mail every few weeks

But for the ongoing Everest sale from a few days ago, I hear the stock they've got on sale is pretty crap, so I guess it depends what you're looking for! No harm in paying a visit I suppose?
I have! Some good buys, i got 3 packs of socks for 70c and wetsuits for $10 (kids) $15 for adults.
I've been only to their current sale, which ends today, got sleeping mat for $7 and -5 degree comfort rating oztrail sleeping bag for $49 for my boy's school camp next month.
Guess compare to Kathmandu which is expensive and kmart which is cheap quality, anaconda probably a better choice …
Any way to find out what brands will be B1G1F other then going into the store?
Not OPs fault, but I'm so sick of these sales that refuse to tell you in plain terms what is on sale outright.
They expect you to show up on the day or jump through bloody hoops to find out its crap anyway.
That's one positive about Kathmandu - though paying full price for their products is idiotic - they have the decency to announce sale items outright, even if they are over-priced.

Yeah I agree BlueMM, I joined in Dec 2010 and I have a welcome email and no more. I must have opted to not get emails. Hardly spam in my experience.

Yeah, this deal is only good if you shop at Anaconda. I generally get my stuff from amazon/campsaver, they're way cheaper and better quality.
As for the blue ticket items, there's not a lot of them.
Yep … not that much stock left at the local shop
… but picked up: 3x Cycling Jerseys, pair of (cheap) trail-shoes, 3x long-sleeve shirts and a 1mm shorty wetsuit for a grand total of $55
Anyone been to the sale yet?
