I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this. I would like to advise everyone to DOUBLE check your bills. I have no idea whether this is an isolated incident or whether there is an issue with the billing system.
I was essentially paying WAAAYYY more electricity than I used. Had to call them up several times to get this issue resolved. I believe the additional charge is suppose to be for people with electrical hot water systems or something, but for some reason they charged me extra even though I didn't have the service.

For a family of Four we were paying 700+ per bill after the service charges etc.
Simply Energy have kindly offset my last bill against this one as I was incorrectly charged last quarter as well. I have since made the switch to another company.
