We would like to hear from you from this ONE minute quick survey
It is already under development, and we will release it soon. We just want to hear more about what you want.
Please help.
Unless your app is something special and usefull, I dont think many people care about having your app for free. You're better off offering something better.
Yes, we got special features, you don't want to "Found latest deals from all online website(eg.EBay, Groupon, JBHIFI, Officeworks, etc) on your mobile? And you can browse hot deals on the train? or on the sofa without starting PC?
Isn't that's what ozbargain is? O.o
So I give you my time and efforts to do this survey for an app that I have no idea what it will do and if it will even be useful to me and even than I have to be one of 100 people to get it.
Sounds like a deal alright.
no, all first 100 customers will get it for FREE.
Request your features as much as you can, and it will be useful to you. :)
You can't do a survey about a product when you don't even explain what the product is!
The product website will launch soon and you will be able to see all details features there.
Basicly, it will solve one problem for you: hard to Search and compare a price on a product across multiple websites(eg.EBay,Amazon,Groupon,JBHIFI, Officeworks, Harvey Norman, etc)
Is that you Obama?
Obama can not manage Aussies, right? ;-)
Asking what consumers want is generally not a good way to produce a product. People will simply tell you they want all the features that you can possibly fit into the app, but realistically speaking the app will simply turn out be a jack of all trades and a master of none. You can't really have an app that scrapes every single possible e-tailer (and the closest you could get to that is scrape Ozbargain because everyone contributes to it). People will just answer YES to every possible answer and the end result is a trainwreck of an app that isn't useful for any particular job.
Start off with a concrete concept first and build on it until you achieve a working prototype (an alpha version) and make it publicly for everyone to use. For example, you could get Ozbargain community to test your app and use forums / Github to collect feedback. When the Beta test ends, you can publish it as a paid app.
This works out better than just asking some open ended questions like: what do you want out of our app? It just shows that you, as a developer, do not understand what people actually want — and that you lack the creativity and imagination.
Thanks scrimshaw, Actually we have to many creativity and imagination, that's why we want to hear what user want at most. Thanks very much for your words.
What product?
