Looking for points and bargains

I've been a guest on OzBargain for over a year and a few days ago I decided to join up. I wanted to read the hidden comments on the deals, vote on deals I liked and make comments.

Some members will think I joined to post the Flybuys/liquorland deal. I found out about this deal last week and figured that someone else would post the deal before me. When I'd been a member for 24 hours and no-one else had posted the deal I decided to post it myself. A couple of months ago there had been a positive response to the first choice liquor deal which also offered 500 free flybuys points so I figured that it was worth posting the liquorland deal.

I'd like to thank the site designers and contributors. I actually found the deal easy to put together after reading the frequently asked questions and the wiki. The form was also easier to use than I expected.

I read OzBargain to get good deals on groceries. I also like looking for opportunities to get free Flybuys or QFF points(via Everyday Rewards).

I'm a member of several points schemes and use them to get free groceries when I can. Some of the programs I am in offer Target gift vouchers which is good because I go to Target from time to time. Usually I make a small purchase from Target with the giftcard then convert some of the giftcard to a Coles Group giftcard. For some reason I still get flybuys base points for the giftcard purchase. That doesn't happen at other flybuys partners.

If anyone sees opportunities for free flybuys or QFF points please post them on this site. I thought I was doing fairly well getting 2000 points combined using the 1st Choice Liquor deal(and two household flybuys accounts), but I've seen now that some members have made even more. Well done. Keep sharing the strategies.
