Perth Cheap hotel for July 2013'

Anyone know whats the best deal I can get on 4 nights in Perth looking for 4 star around $400.

Would that be possible?

I do know Perth can be expensive

    I stayed at Sullivan's hotel earlier this year. About 10-15 min walk to the city. It's 3 1/2 star but pretty good. Price is showing around $580.

    4 star for $100 a night isn't likely. Do you need to be in the CBD? There's reasonable public transport.

    I always use short term stay places when visiting Perth. They have everything, up
    to 4 can stay, lots of space. Four days would be about $580.

    Perth and Cheap hotel don't go together. What I'd pay for a shithole in Perth (GoodEarth) one could get an executive suite in some Asian countries.

    Artificially inflated prices due to resources demand and SHORTAGE of hotels.

    Things are slowly changing….slowly.

    short term stay is self contained.
    The one we stayed in even provided shampoo, soap, washing poweder, toothpaste, toothbrush etc.
    Just bring your clothes. All the luxuries of home.
    But fairly strict on the condition you must leave the unit in when checking out. Can't be a pig stye
    or a shambles.

    It's more like a motel, know it well. Fabulous location as you can walk to the city and
    to Kings park. Don't expect anything modern or large. It's pretty old - even bordering on dingy.
    That said, Perth is probably the worst city at the moment to find good quality budget hotel accomodation.
    And if there's more than 4 of you, short term is by far the best. We'll never stay at a hotel again anywhere after our experience. It's home away from home.

    Check it out www.ihotelsdiscounts.com to make a fare comparision I say. Using the filter atleast you can save few dollars…
