Realize this isn't from or to Australia, but it's in the general area, and thought perhaps someone can use it.
This was $50 cheaper on this website than anywhere else on the web that I could find ($444 USD on Vayama, over $600 USD on the Eva Air site). There is an overnight layover in Taipei on leg 2 (21:35 Dec. 31 - 07:15, 08:15, or 10:15 Jan. 1). Hope someone else can use this deal, too.

2 adult tickets were available as of a few minutes ago. Tickets from online travel agencies can disappear quickly, or go up in price, so please be aware of that. The sooner you search, the greater the chance you will find these tickets.

To my knowledge (and according to their literature), they do not charge any credit card fees on this site - all fees and taxes appear in the price summary during the booking process.

Instructions to find and book flights:
Visit http://www.cheaptickets.hk/en and enter round trip, depart Dec. 24, return Dec. 31, # passengers, economy class, click search button. Select Eva Airways flights departing 7:30a and arriving DPS 3:20p; and departing DPS 4:20p and arriving HKG 8:45a (or other flights of tyour choice - the Eva overnight in TPE can be extended to 8:15am or 10:30am for the same price. Just click Details next ot each set of flights to see flight departure times.) Follow instructions to purchase. Uncheck insurance and ticket guarantee boxes as these cost extra. Price at time of search was HKD 3,062 per person.

    This "deal" has NOTHING to do with Australia - it's not to or from Aus; it's not even an Australian company!

    And no, this is NOT cheap for flights from HK to Bali.

    Give me a break. Better airlines cost more. Comparing Eva Air to Tiger Airways is like comparing a Jaguar to a Hyundai. You fly Tiger, I'll enjoy some actual service and comfort. This is really a good price, and I challenge anyone to come within $40 for the same flights. But if this is not the kind of deal you like to see posted here, I will respect that.
