I still do… sounds to me like the "problem" with the original kit is cymbals cracking.
Yep, a few other issues like double hits or miss hits with the cymbals no matter what sensitivity level you set them to.
I wonder if this is ahead of an official price drop?

Is a 3 month warranty on hardware like the kit even legal? I would have thought it would be required to be longer.
Provided it's fit for purpose and does what it's advertised to do, there is no warranty under law!
offering 3 months on an item that is designed to be hit is probably fair in the eyes of the law.
It's enough time for a manufacturing flaw (ie a test whether the item is fit for purpose) to reveal itself in the product.
Good price. Got mine at EB a couple of weeks ago for about $290.
Also, there seems to be a newer kit out - if you send the one the original one away under warranty, you'll receive the new kit. It's a lot better.
