Postage from US to Australia

I'd like to purchase a product from Amazon (machine, domestic use), unfortunately Amazon doesn't ship to Australia for that particular product. Would you recommend other means of postage to Australia with a reasonable cost? Thanks

    Make sure it's 240V compatible before buying.
    (or factor in the cost of a voltage converter)

    Remember the voltage converter has to cater for the wattage, as in the max watt rating has to be higher on the converter than your device. Dealextreme have some decent ones up to certain wattage with free shipping, but they take ages, i.e. 4-6 weeks, and they have a lot of haters nowadays due to the last sale fiasco..
