Allphones are selling the $30 Starter Packs half price for June. Magazine says you have to purchase a phone at the same time but I was told that it was a mistake.

Apparently it was a mistake that you had to purchase the phone to get it at that price.
I was in there to buy a sim and it scanned up as $15. I definitly didn't buy a phone from allphones today. quickly checking bank statement Nope.
that would be cause their service is so bad, next they will start giving it away
