any one think think the Canon 60D is a good buy considering its an dieing model?

60d is a great choice imo. very good camera body

and btw, its cheaper if you buy seperate.

I just got this camera body.

You wont be disappointed. I dont want to get it tech specs. It feels solid and its also a great camera body to start with. I have just bought this with 18-5mm and 50mm 1.8 lens to start with and then plan on upgrading lens when I have more cash.

  Got the camera yesterday and you are right it feels very solid compared to the 600 series, got twin kit
