Need a pair for flying my RC planes .
This is bargain board so looking for cheapies that won't make my eyes bleed .
Will only need to wear them for about a minute at a time as thats about as long as I can keep the bloody things in the air .
Polarized sunglasses ?

Check in a pharmacy/chemist. I got a pair of polarized sunnies for $15 bucks. They don't look bad either.
Are the cheapies truly polarised? I thought that lens has to be glass for true polarisation?
Yeah, you can polarise plastic..
Easy way to check polarisation is to hold 2 polarising lenses together and rotate them 90 degrees.
Should go from being transparent to being black and opaque.
alternatively, you can hold it up to the sky and rotate, a similar thing should happen, except the sky will go from "blue" to very dark blue. (the sky is blue due to polarised white light from the sun refracting off our atmosphere back into space, the blue portion of the spectrum doesn't refract as far and makes the sky seem blue).
Thanks guys . very helpful .
$15 from the chemist sounds good .The Reject Shop still has polarised ones for $6.
I have seen them in 3 shops around Melbourne. If you want to get some of the best non polarised glare reducing sunnies for driving etc..I can highly recommend Serengeti's. I don't work or have anything to do with them, just think they are fantastic.
Look out for the ones with a glass lense and anti reflective coating on the inside. Very scratch resistant glass.
Personally prefer the green/grey lense as colors look more natural but the brown 'drivers' lense if you can handle the color is meant to be the best on the market as you still can see clearly in low light as well as cutting glare in the bright. Strong metal frames too.
Best I've ever used. On third pair unfortunately as I've lost 2 over time! :(
Not cheap but you can find them about 40% off RRP at Bolle factory outlets, as Bolle own them.
