Bunnings Artarmon has a bunch of video cables and video/audio adapters related to older technologies on clearance. This is a run-out, so there are limited numbers of things available. I saw about 20 DVI-D dual link cables on the shelf. Didn't count the others, but there were at least as many of the others. And dozens of the jack-to-jack adapters.
Up for grabs are TOSLink, RCA/S-VHS, DVI-D dual-link and various other cables, plus some random cable adapters (convert male large headphone cable to small jack, convert 2 RCA to small jack, etc.)
Cables were $1 (the same part number DVI-D dual link cable goes for over $12 on Amazon). Adapters were going for 50 cents. There are both 5m and 3m cables available.
Probably not worth a trip for this alone, but if you're in Bunnings and need stuff of this sort, it's worth a look for it.
To find in Artarmon: Go in the shop and take a hard left and head toward the lighting department. There's a rack full of these things in front of the first row of lighting stuff.
Full disclosure: they also had a DVI to HDMI cable, but only one, and I bought it. There was also a wi-fi antenna (advertises 8.5db gain +/- 0.7db, but who knows?) for $10 (got that, too). If you need those, check other shops.
