I came across this at Woolworths today, Palmolive Foaming Hand Wash (Tangerine only), and Imperial Leather (Shea & Honey only) for 67 cents & 57 cents each - that's a saving of over $2 per item each.
Apparently they have changed their packaging and need to re-stock with the new style.
This was at Cardiff NSW, but apparently is also available at others around (as confirmed by a few FB friends today)

Well I don't know. We been making soap here for years and years and now we need to get it from Thailand?
It just disappointing that people actually buy soap, toothpaste from other countries when we still made it here supporting jobs and a working/clean product.
But that's fine we can get it from Thailand with workers probably working 24 hour days.
What's the Aussie toothpaste we can buy? We buy Macleans because it's made in UK, (and Colgate is from Thailand), but I'm not aware of any Aussie made. We also buy Country Life soap (bar soap), or Sunlight as they are Aussie made & owned, but soft soap is not something I'm aware of either.
Our pre-school requires us to buy liquid soap each term for the kids to use, and it has be Palmolive and NOT antibacterial, in order to comply with OH&S. (This way they only need to have one set of MSDS's done)
Cedel is Australian made. You can find that in Woolworths or Coles. The toothpaste in Aldi is also Australian made.
I don't think there are any others. Macleans were made here but now they are made in the UK.
All hand wash is made overseas/Thailand I think except the Aldi hand wash but that is anti bacterial.

wow - I had never heard of Ozbargain Primary School before !!
The parents have to buy the liquid soap (along with a roll of paper towel, and a box of tissues) at the start of each year, and then whenever they tell us they've run out.
