I live in Sydney and soon move to Sydney Inner West area.
Can anyone tell me what currently the best deals / best value for money are for:
1. Electricity
2. Gas
3. Internet (naked ADSL2+ or with phone?)
4. Water

There is no option for water, so cross that one off your list.
Origin if you can get a deal, for power and gas.
ADSL? Try whirlpool's broadband choice. A lot depends on your usage/circumstances. From my reading, TPG would be an ok choice.
I made up a spreadsheet to calculate/cover all the different ways electricity companies quote their figures. Overall Dodo came out the cheapest for electricity. Cheaper even than that getabetterdeal (or whatever that site is) that people often recommend.
Internet - as kskeggs said, check the broadband choice link on Whirlpool.net.au - because so many things prevent people recommending an ISP. For example contract length. I think it was TPG or Dodo came up as the best price for me, but one of their contract lengths was 24 months - with penalties - that's far too long, as I may move house. You might not.
