Just spot a $59.16 ticket (incl. tax & fees) for PER-KUL flight on Aug 19. Not extremely attractive since it's only for outbound flights and for specific date, but shop around for your convenient dates and you can get return trip for approx $190.
And it's not just KL but also include other places in Malaysia, Indonesia and Cambodia

exactly my thought, don't think there's any reason you can't, but I reckon KL's more happening place than Singapore
It is $52.30 to be exact but with all the charges (passenger movement, safety and security etc) added, the total comes to $137.82
