Food dehydrator

Does anyone know where to get a food dehydrator? I'm looking at trying to make some Jerkey. I'm based in Melbourne.

Just did a little google as i'm interested in this too. Was initially searching for Fowlers Vacola one as a quality brand i've heard of before. Found this thread on Whirlpool http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum-replies.cfm?t=1350098 (also see link to another thread)

The thred is a bit old, and haven't found any specific bargain prices, but seems there's:
Cheap ones on e-bay < $50 which don't have tempature control so not as useful,
Sunbeam - ok reviews - about $100 from Myer/Good Guys
Fowlers Vacola - about $200 - from Mitre 10
Ezidry - about $200
Exculibar - Square tray type $350 - $700!!

Homeart was selling them at $40 a few months ago (half price). I bought 2 with the idea of stacking the extra trays on the one unit, but having used it with just the original 5 trays came to the conclusion it would not handle doing more.

I'd love to get an excalibur. They are highly recommended, but we would have a hard time justifying the cost as we don't really have enough produce to feed it.
