Might be worth mentioning somewhere that it is Android-only.

    • Added, thanks. But Amazon Appstore explains everything :)

  • How's this compared to free services such as MyFitnessPal?

    • +1

I haven't tried the MyFitnessPal, but I just got a Fitbit Flex wristband two days ago and have tried their APP for two days. They don't have Australia Food Database, so almost everything I ate I need to create a new food on my computer and manually key in the nutrition info. That is a pain in my a**.

    • I believe it is more like a food tracker over a fitness tracker.

      • MFP does food too and so far I have been able to find and add every food I've had.

Oh well, it is free. :)
And it probably doesn't have ads. Now I just need to figure out how to export my data from MFP to this…

Edit: Scratch that. It wants $4.50 for the iOS version. Guess I'll stick with MFP since it's on all 3 of my devices.

        • I don't really think it is possible…

  • Entered food: baked beans
    Result: none found
Don't know how good this will be for keeping track of food when it doesn't recognise it. Gives 2 options to enter food, by text or barcode. Didn't recognize barcode either. Tries to get you to use website.

    • Are you sure you didn't search baked bees? I tried baked beans and got 100+ hits.

      Haven't tried bar code yet…

      • +1

No was definitely right words, tried twice. Thought would be good universal food to test it on. Will move onto the exotic foods like baked bees later.

But tried again now & works :-) Probably glitch as had just registered.

  • What does this app say about the KFC Cheap as Chips deal?

    All OK?
