Australia Post open on the Queen's birthday?

Hey guys. Any idea if Australia Post is open tomorrow (the 10th of June), particularly the ones in Adelaide? Cheers.

    I find that Australia Post is never open on any public holiday since it's a government entity. So no it won't be open any where in Australia on the Queen's Birthday public holiday.

      yeah it does make sense. I went on auspost's website and while they did mention they were not open on Anzac day, there was nothing regarding the Queen's birthday.

      Furthermore auspost tweeted

      Good Evening all and see you again Monday :-) Have a great weekend! - Paul

      (presumably by an employee named Paul) on the 7th of June, so you can see where my confusion comes from.

        It isn't whatshermaname's birthday in WA so post offices will be open there. Also ISTR that mail distribution centers work on public holidays.

          jokes side, i'm pretty sure it's an ozbargain system limitation. Kinda like how voting on deals work.

          Although in hindsight, i probably shouldn't have put that fourth option there haha.

    There should be an option "It depends". I know my local PO was open earlier in the year (maybe Boxing Day). Web page says: "Different operating hours may apply on public holidays."

    It depends on your state, different states have the Queen's Birthday holiday on different days which is probably why they say hours vary on public holidays.

    In Melbourne all the AusPost owned outlets will be closed on Monday, the one's that are owned by franchises may chose to open but I doubt it

    Queen's Birthday public holiday is happening in South Australia on June 10th. Australia Post won't be open in Adelaide or the rest of South Australia on Monday so there's the answer to this thread.

    I voted No, because I'm pretty sure you meant 10th June, not 10th July. They wll definitely be open on 10th July, it's a Wednesday.
