Where can one find quality free online university courses?
I'm looking for courses with a complete series of lecture videos or presentations as a minimum.
Thank you.

Thanks, reading through that Wikipedia article was enlightening.
I'm primarily seeking academic knowledge but a token certificate/accreditation would be a valuable bonus. Thus I need to find courses with materials which are available on demand not by a fixed schedule/term. Waiting a month for a course to "start" would be out of the question for me.
https://www.coursera.org/ might have something for you
open2study is the main Aussie site.
They have recognition of being the MOOC with the highest percentage of students who actually finish the courses.
do you get any accreditation/learning recognition?
These courses seem more like self help classes than academic courses. Is that a fair assessment?

Many (most?) of them have lecture videos you can watch at your leisure. However there is usually a term structure so assignments are due by a certain date, for which the lectures are one prerequisite. Also in all the courses I took you have to be enrolled to access the material so you may have to wait for the next round if there's a particular one you want.
