Are these biscuits made from boobie juice? ewwww
They are to help boost a woman's milk supply while she is breast feeding :)
oops :$ Sorry.
I'm all for increasing a woman's milk supply. Breastfed babies are happy babies :)
I'm all for increasing a woman's milk supply. Breastfed hubbies are happy hubbies :)
fixed that for you.
lol. yep that too. Especially that:)
Btw, does anyone remember the breastfeeding scene from me,myself and Irene? Here's the link
like most of ppl here ,i think the brand name is bit deceiving
ewwww
wtf?
their motto "more mummy milk, naturally"……….yeeaaahhh right! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6OkcucXIuVI
I get what the bikkies are for, but what about the beads?
Wife used to wear funky necklaces when she was breastfeeding. Kept the baby entertained while he/she was feeding.
I'd like to see the evidence this works
A friendly neighbour made a huge batch of 'lactating biscuits' for my wife when we had the twins. white choc and cranberry ones.I had a couple. They were yummo! No milk ever came out of my boobies but wife was a different story…
I think they gave u some space bikkies bro…
I breastfed twins for 18 months…
I breastfed twins for 18 months…
That deserves a medal… One at a time was hard enough for us…
Thanks:) The trick was tandem breastdfeeding: one at each breast.Took a while to master that technique though.
Friend of mine fell pregnant 6 weeks after giving birth to her daughter. She breastfed through her pregnancy and is now breastfeeding both elder daughter and the newborn baby. Now that deserves a medal!

Me too. Unless she loads these bikkies with the hormone prolactin, I'd say it does bugger all except give the mum a brief sugar hit with a yummy snack.
But hey, if she can sell a pointless placebo to the masses and everyone is happy, all power to her.
Ever heard of galactagogues? I biscuits I had were made with organic oats and brewer's yeast.

Ever heard of galactagogues?
Yes, however these biscuits are not 'galactagogues'.
This article was written by 2 MDs
Yes, it was. However, in that article, they stated ->
"Certain foods are also believed to stimulate milk production. Oatmeal, barley, leafy green vegetables, garlic, brewer's yeast and brown rice are all thought to help increase milk supply.
"believed" - "thought". No evidence at all.
Like I said I breastfed twins for 18 months..could have been the biscuits (the ones I had were made by my neighbour, not store bought) or could have been a placedo effect. There's only 1 way to find out…
There's only 1 way to find out…
So, you're gonna have another set of twins & this time breastfeed sans cookie as an experimental control, right??? :p
Twins not guaranteed .. but i'll give it my best shot;)
There's only 1 way to find out…
Yep, research and scientific trials…
so titillating…
I see what you've done there, u witty thing:)
Just a couple of things…
OP this is your first post. Are you connected with this on-line business in any way?
The site has no ACN/ABN displayed (as far as I can see).

EDIT
20 biscuits and a plastic string of beads cost $54.20 delivered!!
Not much of a bargain. Why not bake some yourself? Or get the father to do it for you.
Agreed, I can't really see a bargain here.
I also can't see any nutritional information on the site either, which I thought was a big no-no for businesses selling food products…

Yup. Also, not even the weight of the packets of ten biscuits.
Boobie Bikkies retail at $25 per carton
Is this some kind of scam ? How do these give a mum more milk than any other packet of biscuits that are $2 - $3 from Coles ???
It's like most complimentary therapies, you pay more to get that hospital grade placebo effect! These have been baked with real snake oil though. :p
Ewww boobies
