This is deal is like getting Free Syringes when you aren't a Meth Addict, a Free Blood Glucose meter when you aren't a diabetic.

A LOT of people have trouble reading smaller print - if you dont need it, dont get it, but i am getting one each for my mum and mother in law thx - thay both do.
Also a blood glucose meter makes a lot of sense for people with risk factors for diabetes who dont have it but would like to keep an eye on it

Bugger off Sensis/Telstra! Stop producing crappy phone books that no-one uses anymore, the carbon footprint is beyond the joke!

    • Not to mention all the wasted paper!

    • actually i think you might find that producing that amount of paper requires a LOT of trees, and since the growth of trees removes carbon from the atmosphere it is likely a pretty massive carbon SINK, quite the opposite of your kneejerk assumption.

You also seem to be assuming nobody needs them anymore - forgetting that you arent everybody and that plenty of people dont understand computers at all and are accustomed to their phone book, that they have different needs to you.

In short - try opening your mind a little and thinking on your ASSumptions eh.

      • Let me guess, you work for Sensis?

    • Cancel your directory delivery here: https://www.directoryselect.com.au/action/home
Note that you have re-cancel every three years.

      • I "cancelled" mine and still received them last week, bah.

  • Anyone with this aid know if it sits rested on paper or used held by hand? Could be something useful to check how close to retina any of my upcoming display lcd pixels get.

      It's held by hand.
It's actually a credit card-sized rectangular magnifyer made of plastic, that slides in and out of a protective sleeve (also plastic). The size of the sleeve is 92mm x 66mm.
