Been looking for a good chair for the home office and this looks alright.
How do you know these are any good ? Have you tried them ?
I'm looking too, have previously bought from OW, but the lift mechanism dies in around a year… Are these any better ???
said 'looks alright' , so not sure how good they are.will check out the one Elijah below has recommended as well
See these around the furniture shops in Auburn, feels like it'll break easily, lumbar support isnt good.
Im using a mesh one from staples, its not bad, everything is adjustable and hydraulics can take a beating. Been over a year and still isn't leaking gas
My suggestion: get off ozbargain for a month or two… you then should have enough money for a herman miller
you then should have enough money for a herman miller
that's why I'm here, I'm waiting for a $79.99 herman miller
dont know why people are negging JV - perfectly valid comment!
The "Trieste Executive Chair" looks more comfortable for $9($89) more from OW:
Red
Black
White
Grey-Low StockThat's rated at 120kg, the Aldi one at 150kg, so you'd think the Aldi one would outlast it…
Thanks, will check that out as well
read quickly and thought you said the OW chairs are selling for $9
lol yea typed it a bit too quickly…
Bought this on eBay, PU leather not real leather but quite comfort for $89.

The real thing is not that shiny as in the photo.
PU leather not real
FYI jv, That's deadpool, not captain obvious.
OMG !!! I've been living a lie !!!
Eugh, they suck balls IMO. You can get them from OW or at least you used to be able to…
Do you really need an executive chair if your source of executive chairs is Aldi…
mentioned in the title I had an Okamura which is supposedly higher end but not comfortable, so won't be looking at price this time around, so long as it is comfortable.Might have to try a few before getting my perfect chair .Executive from what I know just means more spacious than the ugly regular little ones
I seem to remember Aldi having an Executive/Office chair for $30 about 2 months ago (although it may not have been covered in fake leather). Is this any different?
Executive/Office chair for $30 about
That was actually an Executive Assistant/Office chair…
Actually I think it was an Assistant to the Executive Office Chair
Those of us who work in an office environment need to remain vigilant of the pecking-order!
We've got similar (possibly the same) ones at work . They look good (we have them in the boardroom). But you wouldn't want to sit in them for long periods. As previously stated by krisspy the lumbar support is non-existent. And they're actually pretty hard as in there's not much cushioning.
Thanks
was wondering how comfortable the chair would be.
Now I know.
Bought this when previously at ALDI maybe a year ago. It was the same price but can't be remember if the brand is the same (there is no brand label/marking on my chair). It's not the sturdiest chair and it leans a little to one side. It is not that comfortable either with little padding. But you get what you pay for and it does look nice.
Got the last one at Leichhardt, have sat on it for about an hour.Feels alright, tried a similar looking officeworks one http://www.officeworks.com.au/retail/products/Furniture/Chai…, felt about the same but more cushiony which i don't care for- will only be using it for a few hours a day and actually prefer a firm base.Happy with my purchase, not sure about the leaning to the side- probably got to do with not tightening the underside of it properly?
