Carpet Steam cleaner

hi, i'm looking for something that blows steam to clean and suck up the residue at the same time. any recommendations?

Purchase or hire? I've hired the britex steam cleaner from wollies a couple of times. Does it's job pretty well.

    I hired it for $40 a for 24 hours. Additional bought cleaning liquid and de former for i think $20. This was sufficient for 3 bedroom unit.

  I've hired the britex steam cleaner from wollies a couple of times.
  
  We found it did a very average job. Rug Doctor does far better.
