  Great game.
  Lots of people have had problems with getting it to play though, especially if you have Bitdefender. You need to go into the program and add the following to the list of excluded processes on the Antivirus settings.
  steam\steamapps\common\batman arkham asylum goty\binaries\bmstartapp.exe

  It should work without any issues then.

  I missed this for some reason, but glad I found it. Bought Arkham city in the last deal but havent played it yet so this is great :)
