I'm avoiding the Tim Tams on principle. Compared to the ~200g packets of biscuits which were $2.89 regular price, Arnotts are trying to sell half-size packets for two-thirds of the price (regular pricing), and (for many of the flavours) removing the full-size option.

Selling the half-size packets for 99c approximately matches the price-per-100g that the full-size packets used to sell for when on sale, so this is a good deal, but I'm hoping nobody will buy and Arnotts will give up on the half-size packets. They've certainly been trying hard to push the half-size packets, they seem to be on almost continual special in Coles, but they just aren't moving.

  The full sized ones used to go on special for $1.50 fairly regularly. Not as often as the $2 special, but still once every month or so.
