  I thought that this deal should stay separate from yours although it is very much similar. I hope you don't mind!
  Actually, as I mentioned on the other forum as well, there are three deals you can choose from depending on how much you can afford and whether you are concerned about the performance of the desktop that comes with the 27'' monitor:

  This is a good deal but I think the 27" Dell LCD is nowhere worth $1799, when the 30" was going for $200 less just days ago, and the 24" LCD was available for $1000 less not long ago too. A more realistic price for the 27" may be around $1200.

  It's good for those who need a new PC and big LCD though.

  This is a good deal - agree flog the PC and keep the monitor - where can i subscribe to the Dell emails that send these offers out?
