  It seems like a good deal, but I can't help but feel that over $300 for a console that'll be replaced in ~6 months isn't worth it.

    Remember the PS4 isn't a replacement. (Says Sony)
    and considering the PS4 won't be backwards compatible, there's still plenty of grunt left in the PS3.

      It's not backwards compatible, but I don't think anyone would seriously suggest the PS4 isn't a replacement for the PS3. Yes, the PS3 will still be around for a long time, but there'll be practically no new games for it - they'll all shift over to the PS4 & Xbox One.

    One that comes with the console and then a separate controller as well.

    Fair point - on the initial page it mentions only specifies 1, though the picture shows 2.

    If you click through though, it shows that you get 1x controller with the console, and a 2nd controller.

  Cant help but feel the $189 or whatever it was 320GB at Target a few months back was a better deal.

  As much as I think the super slims are quite garbage, this is a really good price.
  Also seems a lot of people don't really notice many of the super slim's purported 'faults', so no point in being a killjoy, if you buy it and enjoy it than that's probably something the super slim haters secretly envy.

  I bought the 12GB Skylanders PS3 console pack for 150 from Target a week ago and went today and they still had 2 left (Chinside Park, VIC), also they had the older style console (with slot loader) at a low price, although it did not have any extras bundled with it. From memory it was 200 or just above this which I thought was a good deal. Had 2 of these in stock.
