Can anyone beat my $1367 return flight to Europe?

Heya, I'm going to be backpacking Europe for 3 months this August.

I haven't sorted out what places exactly I want to visit yet but I do know that I want to:

Depart Melbourne and arrive London in early-mid August
Depart most likely Paris and arrive Melbourne in early to mid November. (Returning no later than the 15/11)

The cheapest flight I have found is with China Southern Airlines for $1367.97 booked on STA.

Before I book the flight I just wanted to check if I could get something for cheaper.

I was looking at these China Southern to Europe last night. The ones I looked at were codeshare with Air France, with AF flying all sectors. Not sure about either Airline but good to know.

Have a look at Srilankan Business class flights from Singapore, and get a cheap flight with scoot/airasia from Aust to Sing return, Should would out at $1500 with the majority of the flight with business class and flat beds and airport lounges….

Vietnam Airlines offer $1323.32 for MEL-LON 6th August and PAR-MEL 3rd November. This is the price offered by them directly on their website but you might be able to book it even cheaper if you look at some 3rd party sites. They fly into Gatwick airport if that makes any difference to you. Aircraft are Airbus A330 and Boeing 777.
