Ive been looking to upgrade my Sony 10+ years (no HDMI ) for quite a while and dropped into HN, Midland WA this morning.

They have approximately 10 or so amps heavily reduced. They were display models but come with original boxes, remotes etc.

HN products are usually marked up anyways, but someone still might get a good deal.

Some of the details I noted…

DENON 5.1 - $299 (was $499)
MARANTZ SLIM 7.1 $597 (was $1299)
ONKYO 7.1 - $589 (was $999)
ONKYO 5.1 3D $295 (was $799) I bought this one including 3-year warranty

I didnt get the YAMAHA specs, but from memory they had four or so at 50% off and selling at $295.

    Not listing model numbers and only having one of each hardly makes this a bargain.

      no model numbers makes this kind of useless…
      They are surely not current models so knowing which model is allows it to be compared against the feature set of the likely newer, cheaper or better spec'd equivalent

        Fair point. I thought by writing floor stock, it would be obvious they are not new models. Personally, I dont need every bell and whistle from the latest and greatest.

        Put simply, I got a great bargain and by posting the OP, other people may too.

    I got the AVR 2113BK for less than $800 about 8 months ago for a brand new one. this is not a bargain at all …this is retail price and if these are demo's its rip off

    I bought an AVR-1713bk last Thursday for $300 at HN Castle Hill. All the Denon and Onkyo receivers were 50% off.

        Not exactly sure what you mean. I was backing up the OP's belief that the prices were good. HN appears to be selling off decent receivers at very good prices.
