I would like to set up a wireless video cameras to monitor activity around my vehicle day/nights. If possible a system that would record and save to the HDD of DVD recorder or a Windows7 laptop. I have a limited budget but could afford $100+ but certainly not too much as I am a pensioner. May someone make some suggestions as to what I should be looking for please?
Have had a look on eBay but am not technically minded to understand what there is on offer. Some sound really cheap but I don't know if worthwhile or not. I don't want anything too difficult to set up, in translated English or difficult to understand. I am not at all technically minded.
Situation: Vehicle (parked in rear unit) has had bumpers damaged at least twice now, less than insurance excess, and although I have persisted with asking the neighbours to supervise and keep their children (bikes) away from it they simply don't. Owner of property has said the children should not be near my car or (rear) unit. Only yesterday one threw their bike down angrily in front of my car. Of course I cannot "prove" the cause of these constant deep scratches, even though they are at the exact height of the handlebars etc. I have always been a tolerant, good and helpful neighbour. Having to pay for these repairs a second time with the possibility there is more to come …

One cheap solution is to install a night vision capable camera inside the car, pointing towards the driveway. This way the camera won't have to be a rugged outdoor solution (less expensive). It won't be as covert as anyone coming close would see it though.
For example

It's just under $100, designed to be covert, has night vision and records in 720p to a SD card.
