I was going to preorder something on the Jb hifi website but was wondering if they charge you immediately?
I'm doing the PayPal payment option. Does PayPal put the amount on hold meaning your Paypal balance is in the negatives if you have no balance on there?

I have purchased using this method from JB several times. The method works fine; they keep you updated with the progress of the likely despatch date etc and you only pay when this occurs. Even when you order several items with differing despatch dates.
No transaction will occur within PayPal until each item is dispatched. If your PayPal account is not in credit then the price will be deducted from your nominated account (credit or savings). If this cannot be achieved then JB would simply not post your item, and probably advise you by email to organise funds.
From my own personal experience I would have no hesitation in recommending JB online.
Yeah several times, very good, quick delivery and they keep you up to date in email. Most expensive item, a laptop
Do they provide tracking for a laptop? As for most orders, they usually send them via regular post which is a bit concerning.
Highly recommend JB. I have per ordered stuff,they are very good at updating the status of the goods and only charge you once items are dispatched.
They will only charge your Paypal account once it has been dispatched from their warehouse.
If you have no money in your Paypal account they normally just direct debit it from your linked credit card/bank account
