FWIW, I think their shoe size calculations are off by half a size according to http://www.onlineconversion.com/clothing_shoes_mens.htm.

    • I do agree, the shoe that I ordered with the exact size from Myers turned out to be 1/2 size smaller!

      • So which is right? The US size or the AUS size?

  • +4

Is it for the left or right foot?

    • Ambilextrous

    • +5

Just for you I'll give you both feet if you purchase in the next 5 seconds :P

      • How is it $40 delivered? I don't see any for that price…

  • +1

    Damn you…Lol

Just brought the dress shoe from you on the weekend… hope its Good?

    • +1

Can never have too many shoes mate, they are awesome!

  • +1

Can I get them in white croc skin? I've got the white yobbo sunnies good to go. Spring carnival only around the corner.

    • +1

Why Crock skin when you can get these in Premium "Mens leather" :-)

  • Hi Rep
Can you offer a black option for this design? Thanks

    • Only tan is currently available. If your after a black slip on shoe we have a great deal on atm, see the link below:

      http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/JULIUS-MARLOW-MENS-DRESS-WORK-FOR…

      • Do you have any plans to stock the Premium shoe in black? I've bought numerous pairs of is exact shoe in same size from myer and would love to have a few more.

ps. Also bought a pair in tan just for kicks since at $40, it's a third of the RRP at Myer!

  • are these legit or knockoffs?

    • 120% legit mate, authorized reseller of JM!

      • -6

        Are you authorised too?

  • Rep do you have any of those "hybrid" kinda shoes - it looks like dress shoes, square-toed leather upper, but the base is sort of like the base you see on sneakers. It'd be good for a casual yet dressy look to wear with jeans. Got anything of that sort?

    • Why not just go check out his shop for yourself?? Ever used ebay before?

      • I'm at work atm, don't wanna be flipping through too many ebay pages ;)

  • Rep, are the "10AUS or 11US" ones actually sized by Aus or US? According to the size chart posted above your conversions are a half size off, so I just wanna know if I should buy 10.5AUS/11.5US or 10AUS/11US, as I'm looking for 11US.

    • Hi

If your after an 11 US equivalent you need to purchase the following size "10 AUS - 11 US - 44 EUR"

  • -2

How is it $40 delivered? I don't see any for that price…

    • +2

Delivery is Free, the shoes cost $39.95…you figure out the rest…

    • +1

    • How is it $40 delivered? I don't see any for that price…

Fellator is right, only the original brown one was 39.95 everything else was a higher price.

  • +1

  • Hi Rep

    Cheers

  • -1

A dress shoe with a rubber sole, I don't consider that a good deal.

  • i think we can ignore online conversion from website, and stick with official julius's

    http://www.juliusmarlow.com.au/size-chart

  • +4

  • +1

      • sorry! I think all the same. actually, only one model!thanks!

        • +3

bait @39.95 and switch to 59.90

  • Hi Rep,

I am interested in buying a pair of these, but also confused on the sizing.
I currently have a pair of Julius Marlow shoes which I brought from an Australian shop, on the inside of shoe they say STUN 9.
I am guessing Stun was the type of shoe. So would I be an Australian size 9?
on my shoe it doesn't say what country the size is.
Also does this shoe have a leather upper and lining?

  • +2

    Hi Rep,
You said $39.95, and on the ebay link it is showing up as 59.95
    Am I missing something ? I don't see a code anywhere ? what's the story.

I want to buy a Denver Black in Size 11 which is in Stock right now..

    Can you please update ?

    • -1

      Hi

The only shoe that is $39.95 is Premium in Tan. The links you are looking at are other JM shoes we have on special, not all the same price.

      • So you are saying ,
All the other links listed above are not for the 39.95 price ?

For other great JM Deals see:

        69.95 Florence Black leather lace-ups: http://bit.ly/1147ZNE
        49.95 Belt Leather Suede lace-ups: http://bit.ly/10J3Iek

59.95 (Raoul Merton) Player Black leather lace-up: http://bit.ly/190gooM

These don't show up as 39.95, I almost went ahead with the purchase on one only to realise the price was different to what was said here.

You should put the prices next to the links.

        • +1

          Done.

        • Thanks,

I also see that you have done this in many deals before,

In the future please include the price next to the titles.

Otherwise as I see it, its simply bait and switching, as it almost happened to me just now.

Not HAPPY, not upfront and honest = NEG

        • +1

The negative is the renowned poor quality of JM shoes and the seller doesn't even have faith in his product to offer a warranty. Not sure if he is obligated to or not. But take that into account when purchasing JM shoes.

Still waiting to hear back from previous posts about our concerns on the quality of these shoes which the seller has diligently passed on to the manufacturer and is tirelessly chasing up.

        • Done.

The least you should have done is posted an apology saying you forgot to put the prices next to the title.

Your Curtness to me seems like you did this on purpose, Bait and Switch.
So overall sounds Very Dodgy to me.

Hope you have learnt your lesson this time.

        • Hi

Stun is the style, 9 is the size. You will need to purchase size "9 AUS - 10 US - 43 EUR"

  • Also you should change your settings so we can PM you !

No warranty offered is ILLEGAL. Very dodgey business, possibly selling stolen or counterfeit goods, hence the refusal to offer warranty. Stay away from these shonks. Illegal behaviour being reported to the relevant consumer agency for further action.

    • +5

Absolutely not true. With over 35,000 positive feedback we couldn't get away with selling fakes/stolen goods!

Within reason we will accept items back, especially if the item is faulty.

      • -7

Offering no warranty is illegal, your business clearly has no regard for the law and you are happy to commit illegal acts. Ill stay away thanks. Report going in as we speak.

        • uh oh, we are dealing with illegal items…

        • +12

ACTUALLY you are wrong: (copied from http://transition.accc.gov.au/content/item.phtml?itemId=3229…)

THE SELLER IS UNDER NO OBLIGATION WHATSOEVER TO PROVIDE YOU WITH A VOLUNTARY WARRANTY. He does however have to uphold the consumer's statutory rights in the form of a statutory warranty. i.e. the product must match its description. It must not be faulty. It must be supplied within a reasonable amount of time.

PLEASE don't go around shamming others when you haven't even read the rules yourself.

          Voluntary and extended warranties

Sellers and manufacturers can make extra promises about their goods or services as a way of giving consumers more confidence in their quality, or the level of customer protection if things go wrong. These kinds of promises are called ‘voluntary’ or ‘extended’ warranties. If things do go wrong, a voluntary or extended warranty may entitle a consumer to have goods replaced, repaired, or to have their money refunded.

The terms and conditions of both kinds of warranties set out precisely what consumers can claim, such as whether all repair work or replacement parts are covered.

Regardless of the terms and conditions, voluntary and extended warranties do not override or alter consumer’s statutory rights, or affect a seller’s responsibility to meet statutory conditions and statutory warranties.

          Voluntary warranties

‘Voluntary warranties’ are the written and verbal promises sellers and manufacturers make about their goods and services. However, they are also known by other names, including:
          • express warranties
          • store warranties
          • manufacturers’ warranties
          • money-back guarantees
          • store refund policies
          • store exchange policies.

The law does not require any business to provide a voluntary warranty.

However, when such warranties are provided, consumers should understand their terms and conditions (the ‘fine print’) as these set out what the seller will do if there is a problem and whether there are any restrictions or conditions that may prevent a claim.

Depending on the terms and conditions, these warranties may entitle consumers to a refund, replacement or repair if there is a problem.

Voluntary warranties usually apply for a set period
          – typically 12 months. A voluntary warranty forms part of the contract between the buyer and the seller. This means consumers have the right to take legal action against the seller if the warranty is not honoured, and this includes any claims about the future availability of services, spare parts and replacement parts.

Some voluntary warranties (which include manufacturers’ warranties) do not cover all types of damage or defects. However, problems that are not covered by a voluntary warranty may still breach a statutory warranty or condition. For example, if the fault means the goods are not of merchantable quality, a consumer may still be entitled to a remedy under their statutory rights. These rights also extend to any warranty claims made by manufacturers or importers.

          LoL, told!
Love it when people make things up and end up just looking dumb.
End of the day it's an eBay business, will be no different from someone setting up shop at the markets.

    • +1

Their link (http://stores.ebay.com.au/BrandHouseDirect/Shipping-and-Retu…) does say that faulty items can be returned.

You have a right to return items that aren't of acceptable quality, fit for purpose, etc. - which are your rights under the ACL.

Which law says that the product has to come with a minimum warranty? (I'm genuinely curious - not trying to dismiss your argument)

      • Shoes are a difficult case as the items have direct wear and tear from first use.

If the item is genuinely faulty and has not been used then as per our returns policy we are happy to refund.

  • -6

I downvoted this because I bought 3 pairs of dunlop trainers last year. They are really crappy quality ones, cost me $17 each, not worth buying at all!

    • +3

Can you PLEASE vote based on the CURRENT deal not some LAST year, otherwise you should neg that particular deal for Dunlops RATHER THAN this one which is a completely different deal.

  • Just bought a pair.. cheers

  • so…people have had problems with the quality of those JM shoes i gather?

/thoroughly confused after reading all the comments

    • JM are notoriously bad quality, plus they're terribly ugly :s

$39 for a pair of shit shoes that look like crap, what do you expect?

Better off putting that money elsewhere in better quality shoes that 1) look way better and 2) will last 100x longer (Look at english makers/online stores -> Herring Shoes, who also stock Loake et al, Pediwear, plus euros like Meermin, Carmina, etc etc etc).

      • +2

I've been wearing a pair of JM to work every day for about a year now. Only signs or wear are on the soles. They seem to be decent quality to me…

        • I've had decent experiences with JM,
And the beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

  • wow, lots of doubt cast into this mind due to all above comments
have taken the plunge & ordered. if they're crap they're going back!

    • well you have to pay shipping back :(
but see the ebay feedback so many positives.

  • -3

    Is this really genuine?

  • At this price I bought a pair. Would never pay full retail for JM again after the last pair, soles wear quickly but decent quality for 40-60.

  • Just wondering but what is the difference between the JM premium tan in this listing
    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/JULIUS-MARLOW-PREMIUM-MENS-LEATHE…

and the one being sold here

    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/JULIUS-MARLOW-MENS-LEATHER-SHOES-…

    The colours seem markedly different.

    thanks

  • -3

Seller being untrustworthy by not initially putting up prices, and baiting. Also, ebay always has cheap deals. This is just seller self promotion.

  • I've bought two pairs from earlier sales with no issues. Second pair I got did not fit well so seller happily exchanged for correct size!

Cannot go wrong for $40 - would never pay $129.95 for these!

  • I'm guessing people got confused with the title. "Premium" is actually the model of the specific shoe in the post, not that all the JM shoes on special are premium. It was pretty straightforward when I looked this morning and I didn't feel like the Rep was trying to do any kind of dodgy tricks with the price.

  • Tony Greig wears Julius Marlows so they are good enough for me. Just gotta watch out for Bill Lawrys pidegons

    • -1

Don't think he wears them anymore. The only soul he needs now is spelt differently.

  • Why I received email saying it is a listing error on ebay?
