Wait, so if I make a UK Nintendo account, and change my console region to the UK, and then register 3 games on my new nintendo account I get a free game? Or is there more too it than that? (So far I have Luigis Mansion and Fire Emblem from the UK)
Yep, simple as that. I was worried that my preinstalled copy of Mario Kart 7 wouldn't work after changing region, it's good though, works fine. You can switch back at any time as well. Go into Settings > Other Settings > Profile > Region.
1 Game left :D Thanks!
I have ordered all from wow. I ordered DKR, Monster Hunter & Animal Crossing for $117 delivered. Problem is that Animal Crossing is a preorder and isn't released until mid June so it's gonna be close to the cut off date. Does anyone have a registration code from the UK they will likely not use?
I have registered 2 games under my AU Nintendo account. I guess that means I'm out of luck huh..
I ordered this game from wow 3weeks ago and its status is on back order now
no idea when ill get it
It only released today in the UK (24/5) it would have been a preorder so hopefully it will post on Monday?
not possible to create a uk account if you have already an australian account ?
On club.nintendo.uk ? Yes it is, log out of your AU account first, I have about 5 different accounts.
If you're talking about your 3DS, Go into Settings > Other Settings > Profile > Region.
Do I need to change the region to UK so they only send me UK games for the SoManyGames offer? If I leave it as Australia won't they send me local ones which may not work on that Nintendo offer?
You have to change to UK for the code they send you to work. It won't work in the AU store.
The email address is already assigned to another user.
nope, cant create a club nintendo uk account it seems
lol, you haven't thought about using another email address?
not really since ive always thought that could compromise my main account.
use a 2nd email for uk club nintendo account for UK games is the go ? :)
Yeah, like I said before, I have several accounts. Most are Aussie but I have a UK account as well.
I mean do i have to change to to the UK part of that website, wowhd. If I use wowhd australia they might send me Australian games that won;t work for this Nintendo offer right?
They will only send you UK games no matter what. All of their games are imported.
nvm found my answer, cheers guys!
does anyone know by any chance if you can register the same game twice with different codes to still gain access to the free game? ( etc 3 donkey kong country codes )?
Nope. Must be different titles. Trade it with someone.
i have 2 donkey kong country codes that i cant use, anyone wanna swap with a game code they have if they havent activated yet please? :)
If you can't find a taker I will swap two different Aussie codes for a UK Donkey Kong code
I dont have anything to swap, I would gladly take one off your hands though ; P
Oh yeah, you only need one more don't you?
lol i need one more uk code i cant give it away :P its my only option to trade! yeah i have donkey kong x 2 and pokemon, shame.
You might consider buying a digital UK release if you get stuck, GAME UK are doing a special. Works out about 20% cheaper than the UK eShop with email delivery! Just be sure to link your eShop account (on eShop on 3DS, go across to the left and in settings link your UK account with your 3DS) with your UK Club Nintendo account before buying, it'll then register the games you digitally purchase automatically.
the only issue is that ive already got a code spare that i need to get rid of! if i needed to buy another game i would have definately used your method.
For $5 I wouldn't bother with the wait tbh.
It's On Like Donkey Kong!
You're missing rock and paper though…
…and scissors
Interesting that it lists $54 online

Nearly twenty years later (from the release of the DKC franchise) and still no one beats DK. I still remember how much joy I felt being given Donkey Kong Land (a birthday surprise kept in the car boot). That was eighteen years ago… and at $48 the game price has hardly changed (I knew because my mother didn't bother to remove the sticker). I hope DKC returns brings as much joy to a new generation of kids getting into handheld gaming, and I hope they release a version on the Wii. Or Wii U.
This is a remake of the Wii version that was released a few years ago.
I meant a sequel to that game sorry! I played that game on the Wii was really good, I aimed at getting the 120% (I think or whatever over 100% was) I got what it took to get mirror mode activated on the levels. Not sure if I got the over 100% completion. Hopefully Nintendo has 20th celebrations for the series next year but given Donkey has been a character for a lot longer I doubt there will be Super Mario level fanfare over the anniversary.

Thanks!
Good price for local stock. $37 delivered at wowhd.com.au though and if you register 3 UK games you get a free digital download. That's what I'm planning on doing, I changed over to the UK eShop, its cheaper and has more content anyway.
