wow very very expensive, did you watch the reveal last night, it looks like a terrible machine basically a SocialMediaTVBox. If I was gona pay $900 to watch TV I would rather just upgrade my current TV.
Wrong. It's basically a games machine (5x power of the 360) with social media features, kinect, blu-ray and PVR thrown in.

im pretty sure the price will come down by the time this gets released, and if not they are not going to do very well with regards to sales. Realistically, i think it will come out at about the $600 mark, and EB probably know this so they take the money now, then they offer you refund or credit to buy games, and hope you use the extra cah for buying games. Thats what i would do if i was in marketing in Eb, given their sales numbers recently.
Regardless of competitive pricing for a country, its not competitive pricing for a console, even at overseas prices. generation after generation, the big companies just don't learn.

I'll pass. I've been a gamer since I was a weee little kiddie and I'm not sold on the XBox One. The machine is 'virtually' just under the power of the PlayStation 4 but is impacted by 3 different operating systems… This will put pressure and restrict the processors and RAM doing what they need to ensure games are on par with PS4.

no bargain regarding price op just wanted to post but forgot this is oz bargain meaning bargains only, I also read xbox One is not backwards compatible with Xbox 360 games is this true if so this is another negative for me since some original xbox games couldn't even play on the 360 as well
