Hi, I didn't notice that my use of autofill meant that an incorrect middle name has been recorded on a Virgin domestic return flight that i booked for my 18 year old nephew. The flight connects with an overseas flight. Should I change this online or try to sneak it through? Will they charge for the change? Should he just try and get through at the airport and pay if they require it there? Thanks.

Hmmm.. Does your nephew have to check in again when you board the connecting flight? My impression is that I haven't been checked for my actual name on domestic flights since they had online check-in. My name could have been Rumplestiltskin for all they know.
But if the name is incorrect on the international flight, definitely get it changed as they usually match it to your passport, etc.
Name ok on international flight. Geek001 thanks- Flyer talk says the same thing. Checkin online and it wont be a problem. Good to know.
How much $$$ are you risking with the overseas flight if you happen to run into an overzealous check in officer?
