Hey guys,
It's time to upgrade my tough digital camera, and was wondering which one you guys reckon would be best? I'd need atleast 10m waterproof and probably 2m shockproof.\
the ones i was looking at are:
Nikon AW100
or newer model Nikon AW110
Olympus TG-2
Or one from the panasonic range
What do you guys recommend? My previous was an olympus

Yer my Olympus has gone through alot, i know what you mean about picture quality, but im not too fussed with a point and shoot. They ones i am mainly interested in is the nikons and the olympus.
I haven't looked at these too deeply, but I have a weakness for nice bright lenses and the F2.0 lens on the Olympus looks good (on paper).
Out of curiousity, which did you buy?
I had the same issues deciding between the two but I ended up buying the Nikon AW110 from Costco for $299.99 which included a 16GB Lexar SDHC card.
I'm wondering if it was the right choice….
When did you get it for $299? Is it still available? I am interested in getting the AW110 (wifi). I got the old model AW100 and like it except it doesn't come with a wrist band.

@slee123: I ended up deciding on the Olympus as that is what my old camera was and i quite liked it. But the Nikon was also very good, a friend just bought that one on the weekend.

I've had 2 older Olympus tough cameras and I would avoid them in the future.
They took a lot of punishments but the picture quality was crap.
