Need a web designer to help setup an online store for Brentsbits!

Hey folks, if any of you are, or know a talented yet budget priced web developer to set up a small online store for Brentsbits I would love to hear from you, or get the details of the one you know.

I don't really need anything fancy, just some simple setup help. I am not particularly attached to any kind of setup (Magento, osCommerce etc) but do have a couple requirements with regards to the order processing, so that I can process orders easily and hassle free.

Anyway, if you are a developer or know one please let me know, I really need to get set up off eBay as well as maintain my eBay presence as well :-)

    What about renting a storefront - http://www.shopify.com/pricing
    Its cheaper upfront however would cost more in the long run, however it would also be less hassle.

      problem is that Shopify charges a fee per sale, same as eBay. It's less than eBay but I am after something where I don't have to pay someone a percentage of my sales.

      I am not looking for a free solution, if there is a good store builder/hosting service out there that I haven't seen I'm happy to pay a monthly fee. I'm also happy with a self hosted solution. What I don't want is somewhere I have to pay a percentage of my sales like I do on eBay.

      Once I have my website up and running I will get proper credit card processing as well to further cut costs, once all that's in place, I can pass on some of the savings :-)

    Try using www.freelancer.com. You will hopefully find someone there.

      Thanks for the pointer, I've used them before and for simpler projects I find them great, for projects such as websites and similar where I have some specific but (hopefully) not too complex requirements, I find the language barrier is an issue, as most freelancers are from an english as a second language background. Doesn't make them bad at what they do, just makes it tough for me to get what I want.

      Was hoping for someone local for maybe a bit more than through freelancer.com.au but not as expensive as some of the several thousand dollar quotes i've had previously from local companies.

    BigCommerce - hosted shop front, good templates and monthly flat fee (not percentage of sales). Originally from Australia but now have head office in Austin Texas
