  • Great deal.
Many other good deals on website.
Just no mention of shipping cost but it could take 9 business days to Melbourne.

  • Couldn't resist this one, these bars (or any in particular) are so expensive normally I rarely buy them. But a box of 10 for $9.95 is definitely a good deal. Bought two boxes and shipping came to $9.95, so $30 for 2 boxes delivered.

If they taste half decent I'm sure I would have eaten them by expiry :)

  • Hi there,

Can you please tell me how many calories each bar contains in total? And how many grams carbs, fat and protein?

Also, I notice the manufacturers site doesn't seem to list this product anymore, and when I search for it, it doesn't seem to be available at any of the stores it used to be available at? Is this then end of the line for this product?

And finally, in your personal opinion, for how much longer will these bars be good enough to eat?

    Cheers.

    • Check http://www.usenature.com/ethical_endura_sport_supplements.ht… which seems to have the same bars.

If I'm not mistaken it's 40 protein, 30 carbs and 30 'other' (vitamins, fat).

I assume these are a discontinued line which is why they're struggling to clear them. I'm no representative but I would say these bars still have a few weeks left in them, there's nothing fresh in them and they generally have a very long use by date, so unlike milk, a couple of days past the use-by is not going to kill you (or give you the runs).

"ENDURA ZONE BAR is useful as an in-between meal snack, and can be used during exercise. It has a 40:30:30 ratio of carbohydrate, protein, and fat."

So it's more carbs than protein. But still pretty good for the price!

EDIT: But on this page "Contain physiologically balanced ratios of vitamins and minerals, are high in protein and low in carbohydrates" contradicts the above, so now I'm not sure…

  • I have had these bars before, but Endura changed the formula awhile back.
$10 is pretty good for a box of energy bars, but hopefully people are buying these for the sake of energy instead of taste.
Just make sure you have a jug of water nearby :P

  • Yes anyone know the amount of protein in these bars??

    • Check http://www.usenature.com/ethical_endura_sport_supplements.ht… which seems to have the same bars.

If I'm not mistaken it's 40 protein, 30 carbs and 30 'other' (vitamins, fat).

      • I know it says its got a 40:30:30 ratio on the site … but even my protein shakes have 40g of protein WITH skim milk. And the protein bars by the same company listed below states it has "More than 18 g of Pure Protein ". However, if it does have 40g of protein, then sweeeeeet!

  • is this a no name brand?
never heard of that brand name b4

  • Thanks for the replies guys. Yes I saw the 40:30:30 ratio, but it's just that, a ratio. The bars are 55grams each. I would assume about 20 carbs, 13 protein, 13 fat. The totals of carbs, protein and fat never add up to the total amount of grams in a bar.

Anyway, the chocolate ones are sold out.. I'm not so keen on berry. Might just stick to my protein shakes! Cheers.

  • Just got me a pack as well. Was needing some grease and lube anyway. Most energy bars dont taste that great and I dont think this will be that much different.

  • Delivery was very quick, ordered on Monday and arrived toady. I took a photo and I'll post the nutrition information when I get home.

                      Per bar (55G) / Per 100g (%)
          Energy : 871kj 1579kj
          Protein : 16.2G 29.5G
          Fat (Total): 4.6G 8.3G
          Carbs : 25G 45.5G
          Sugar : 11G 20G

So 16.2G of protein per bar which is quite reasonable. Not a real supplement but definitely a good snack for on the go. Tonnes of other vitamins which I'll show when I upload the pic.
