Looking for cheap Thai food in Melbourne

Hi all,

I recently moved from Sydney to Melbourne. In Sydney there were plenty of good Thai restaurants offering cheap lunch deals for around $6.
I cannot find anything like this in Melbourne.

Any suggestions?

    I don't know about $6 lunch, but I know Thai Culinary on Elizabeth St in the city is pretty good.

    there is no way you can find $6 meal in melbourne except the chinese restaurant inside the arcade adjacent to flinders station…

    Thai food is an ozbargainers worst dish in terms of value for money. It's always expensive and all that's in the most popular dishes are thick cut vegetables and loads of coconut milk with 3 small pieces of meat. On the plus it tastes great!

      yep found a similar problem here in QLD,price more like 8/10 dollars too…not enough competition (where i live anyway)

    Melbourne Thai Cafe near Vic markets and opposite a gun store ! It's the best and my wife is Thai !
