Tiger Airways deal a while back. You pretty much had to book within a 2 hour window because after that they were sold out.
The wife and I are flying Perth > Melb return for ~$40 in December this year :)

I can't think of a worse day to go to the zoo than one when it's packed full of people who won't pay the regular $20ish entry.
(I'm a member of another zoo, which would give me free entry anyway, and it costs me $200ish per year for the family)

I jumped on before 8:30 (about 8:25) and the form was already up. Maybe they went live too early and the tickets are gone? It did say once the tickets are gone it would redirect to sell tickets..

Nope, definitely not gone as I checked when it was not available to when it became available. It just take you to purchase the ticket, but the link is broken now perhaps they are trying to put up the proper link now.

i think they're fixing the redirects when you click claim my tickets and in the mean time people are still hammering it.

yea that took forever but then you'll appear at the buy ticket page again..there won't be any scroll bars but if you highlight the text to the right you should see the option to buy tickets. just choose free today later..it's still charging my $90 though..will continue to hammer the server

Nope thats what it has been doing the whole time.
But now it open it in a new window. I think in the T&C It said it would go to the tickets page once free tickets had all gone.

I think the free today is only for the delivery option (email delivery of tickets) as normal when buying tickets.
Bro just contacted perth Zoo, they said the problem is on west aust side.. the price list should be all $0 and they are fixing them now. No ETA but keep trying.
I think they are still fixing it as I get $0 for child but still normal price for adults now.

I got mine. Tickets can't be viewed at the final checkout process. Got the tickets sent to my email. However, the bar code is missing on all the tickets except one.
got the same problem. Click on the print ticket page and you should get a new one. I got mine already

The Perth Zoo free admission tickets for 3 June are being made available via The West Australian competitions webpage. There are some technical problems with the webpage. Everyone is working hard to solve it and the webpage will be available as soon as possible. Please keep trying. At this time none of the 5000 tickets have been allocated.
I got through, sort of. although it is showing $0.00 for carers and children under four; all the other tickets are still at normal price. So hopefully they are still working on it.

it shows up as 22.50 but once you pick the number of ticket it should say $0 at the bottom.

Yup been doing that and still can't get one with all the barcode present. Frustrating.
Has anyone emailed the zoo to see if they will accept tickets/receipts without the barcode? Mine are presenting with the barcode number which in most places can be keyed in in place of scanning the barcode.
you dont need a complete set on 1 form. Just keep trying and after like 5-6 forms you should get a complete set.
Unfortunately the first ticket on mine is always missing. I emailed them anyway to see whether they can resend me the tickets with the barcode displayed.
I just got a reply and they said the tickets are valid as they have unique numbers.

If you are missing the barcode and want a complete one, wait till the server settled down and i notice it may produce a full complete barcode on the tickets.
Finally.. what a mission. Even the billing address form on zoo site is problematic. Kept saying invalid address, but I think because the form was not loading completely (supposed to be drop down lists)
Check your pdf's too, make sure all the barcodes are there..
Even the emailed one was missing one of them. But across the other few times I tried to download it, I think I have a full set of barcodes now..

What is companion card in Carers mean? What do I have to present to the counter other than print ticket on the day?
{Entry is Free however you must order, print and present a ticket for each carer. The person you are attending with or caring for must present a valid Companion Card for you to gain free entry}
So, this 5000 tickets basically for children under 4 and disable people?
No, Those are free anyway (under 4 anyway). But standard condition are put onto all tickets I would assume.

This would be for people with Carer tickets (which are discounted or free). Like students discounts need a card etc.
Whilst this was a good deal, the organisers sure made it tough going to get the tickets.
I am appreciative of the offer, however I hope they have learned a lesson to have the services to back up the popularity of the offer.
