        I've just been using homemade bread crumbs mixed with fish oil. I'll be donating my cat food to my colleague who missed out (and actually has 2 cats!) :(

      Never feed a dog cat food. When I was at uni, a group of us met at a mate's place to watch some movies. His landlady had a dog, and let's just say that this dog passed wind like nobody's business. As well as frequency, the smell was of the stomach-churning kind. Definitely the WORST emanation I have ever had the misfortune to smell. The air was just thick with olfactory unpleasantness. Eventually, one of us asked what the malodorous canine had eaten. Our mate who was the boarder told us that it had been fed cat food. You have been warned!
