Found this at the Chemist Warehouse on Burwood Road, Sydney. You need to claim a cash back to get a free blood glucose meter, not sure how useful it is, but its 00c!

The sign in the photo also says $40 cash back. Chances are Chemist Warehouse sells it for $39.99. The tag just says the RRP is $68.99.

yep, doctors, hospitals etc give these out for free. The test strips are considerably more expensive (unless you're subsedised which the government pays).

Blood glucose meters have been free for a long time. Just actually need to ask. All big chain pharmacies should have some similar program running. Some do the rebate for you where you just fill out a form for them. Chemist Warehouse seems like they make you do it yourself to save their time. I just get one from Cincotta if I know someone needs it.
