Can't realise how this has happened but I have reached pensionable age! But I also have 3 Under 25s who will use one of our cars.
Any experience out there of best value/service car insurance for my circumstances? Currently NRMA everything, max NCB.

But how good will progressive be at paying out on a claim?
I'm guessing NRMA will be very easy to deal with.
I've heard some of the cheap insurance companies make it very difficult for you to successfully claim.
choice magazine reviews these and gives their best

I'm not a pensioner so this is a general suggestion. - Progressivedirect
I just received my renewal from NRMA (QLD) for $687 comprehensive. checked on line with progressive which offered pretty much the same policy (minor variations - higher valuation, lower excess, better car rental, but no free windscreen replacement, but free windscreen repair) for $421-ish.
rang NRMA (as I have been with them for 3 years) asking if they could reduce their premium and as they don't do the "beat it by 10%" deal any more (except for renewals and they wouldn't beat their own) they could only come done to $627.
$627 vs $421
bye bye NRMA
