I am no expert on bikes and the description of the bike's components is absolute gibberish to me. I've done a bit of research however and think that this is probably a good-value-for-money bike but I want to get some opinions before I make the buy:
Is this a good men's urban road bike?
Comments
Really depends what you are expecting it to do. I purchased a "bargain" $2000 bike, but I expect we have different uses.
I'm looking at getting an urban road bike as well. Looking at only spending around 300. What one out of these specs would i be better off with?

I would recommend a flat bar at this price, will be more comfortable for you.
The bikes are similar, but based on your 3 choices I would choose based on the seller.
OO are only online and drop down handle bars - I would forget this.
Reid has 4 locations across Australia so you could drop in and test ride the bike. Also a bonus if you have any issues.
Cell are reputable company but only in Sydney. But good bike for the price and you could drop in if in Sydney.
pity im not in any of those states haha
Would still recommend Reid or Cell and forget about OO.
Pretty much bottom of the line components, but it will serve the purpose of getting from A to B.
Very similar set up available here if it provides you with another option: Cell Bikes - City Slicker
