A quick check of 2000 NSW shows a few stores have stock - Ashfield, North Sydney (low), another one I've already forgotten
not anymore… :(
MAN that was quick! 9 minutes - and Ashfield was showing as having several in stock???
Better hurry finding something soon, before your membership gets revoked ;)
No, they are notorious for advertising crazy discounts, then having basically zero stock. One or two of their recent sales had something (a lot of us got something in the blu-ray one), but mostly Dick Smith = you won't get it.
If there's no stock, that means NO deal!

I can't upvote this when all the postcodes I tried (within a 2hr radius) contain no stock. But a good find if you can actually secure one.
delivery still valid. extra $9.95. not that bad
You can add to cart, but when checkout it says unavailable for home delivery
Appears to be instore only.
no stock any where around me
with amd processor, will i get some compatibility issue down in the future from anything ie hardware o/s games apps etc etc? any disadvantages compare to having intel proc?
I don't think you will have compatibility issues with amd chips but if you need a laptop for gaming, better get a higher spec one like and i5 or i7 with dedicated graphics memory.
At worst it may be less efficient - ie slower and/or more power consumption than the Intel equivilent. This isn't always the case though - there have been many times over the years when AMD have been ahead.
out of stock!!!
none in SA…………………….
not a bargain or even a valid deal if there are no stock to be found anywhere, it just lures ppl to go to DSE website. Now, how do I cancel my vote?
No stock in your area (which I have already said in stock online) and also by the time I posted you can get it deliver. So you could not get it didn't mean other could not get it.
No actually you could add it to cart, but you could not checkout. So no stock online
Citybargainhunter makes a good point
I think just more peoples tried to buy it at the same time.
did you actually try to check out or buy online, or just view your cart?
no stock Nth Brisb or central Bris
no stock in about 20 WA stores I searched
No stock in Newcastle NSW or Maitland :(
could you use this for harvey norman trade in lol?
Very bad Dickie deals. I've put my click and collect order as soon as I saw that my local store, Tuggerah has stock for the Toshiba one this morning, got confirmation email, waiting for the text, then just got a call then from a staff there telling me that they don't have it anymore, 4 hours later! Now I smell something rotten here. Not happy and I wouldn't be bothered with DSE deals in future :-(
You are right. Every time I see a DSE deal, I pre-assume that they won't have any stocks.
In most/all of the DSE sales, I've never been successful in finding stock.
Just bad luck on my part?
