      Hubby has an antique version of this that he was given. It makes a pretty impressive cup of coffee.

      Coffee goes in the top portion, water in the bottom. As it heats it is siphoned up to the top chamber. At this point the heat (in his case a metho burner) is turned off, and as it cools it goes back through the coffee and into the bottom chamber again.
