Business class fares lower than economy in many cases.

Also, cheap business class fares from Manila to almost all their international destinations.

When checking flights look for the Mabuhay Classic fare for business class

Unfortunately Melbourne and Sydney don't get such a great deal (approx $1000 each way)

Sales and ticketing dates are 1 May to 31 July but Perth, Darwin and Brisbane flights don't start until June

The fare looks to be available for all months that are open for booking through to March 2014

Good price for Business.

Note that these are listed as A320 flights (single aisle, narrow body) aircraft.
So not sure of the standard of their business class configuration on these, as it's not mentioned on the website.

But still, if it's the same price as economy you'd be mad not to take it if you already planning to go there.

  Yeah, if it's the A320, the seats aren't that much better than economy[1] - 5" extra in front and 3" to the side. If it's the A330, then you get a LOT more space - 28" to the front and 3" to the side [2]. Though I'm guessing SeatGuru might have messed up that pitch seeing as how Jetstar's A330 has a similar seat layout and the pitch is 38" (7" more than economy)

At least it's not Air India so you shouldn't find yourself sharing the Business seats with the flight crew having a snooze while the plane autopilot is looking after the flying.

  still some for Brisbane. I checked 3 weeks and found availability on 2. 23 June for example flying there. Just search with flexi dates and u get a 1 week block. Easy enough to spot the days that have fare of about 396
