Bunnings Warehouse at Mascot is giving away $10 vouchers to use at Bunnings Alexandria which is opening on 13th May. They were giving away the cards at the main entrance. Just collect one(s?) when you enter (and exit?) the shop.

Behind the card, it says "Visit Bunnings Alexandria to Validate your $10 gift card, 8-40 Euston Road, Alexandira (McEvoy Street end) Phone: 9336 2400 Use this gift card towards any purchase of goods at Bunnings Warehouse Alexandria between Wednesday 15/5/13 and Sunday 26/5/13. Bunnings is not responsible for lost, stolen or damanaged cards. This gift card is not a credit card or debit card. This gift card is not redeemable for cash. Limit one per customer."

    might last till tomorrow, the girls held like hundreds of them.

    and yes they dont really care if you already got one on saturday and ask again on sunday.

    if you need multiple items just grab one first pay with this go out come back in grab another thing and pay again with the card. no one will remember you i think.

      This will not work, as the gift cards are only valid at the new alexandra store.

      No it's not. Bunnings Chatswood is 2 level (Cnr Smith & Gibbes Streets).

      BTW, I find it strange to have another branch at such a close proximity with Bunnings Mascot…

        I heard from staff there that Mascot is the no. 1 bunnings in NSW if not Australia, and that a days sales there approximate a weeks sales at other suburban stores of a similar size, so no surprise really, they want to saturate the market ahead of other warehouse stores opening.

          I don't know anything about the new location, but if you have been to Mascot it is busy beyond convenient parking. You regularly have to follow leaving customers around so you can get a park.

          Also I am guessing that it is pretty hard to find suitable sites of that size that close to town, so if one came up Bunnings would definitely outbid Masters for it, after all they are the incumbent and have everything to lose Masters picked it up. Not sure of Costco is in direct competition as I haven't been there. Also since they are wholly owned stores, its not like they have a frachisee who will be annoyed about one opening up so close.

      How about in Randwick where you can drive THROUGH the warehouse to the rooftop carpark AND you can catch a lift INSIDE the warehouse? ;)

    I'm here at the moment guys. There are still plenty left if you guys are interested. Two girls standing in the inside entrance handing it out. No barcodes on the back, just says visit Alexandria to redeem like OP said.

    EDIT: I have a feeling since there are no barcodes that they'll grab your details upon using it to stop multiple uses.

    Is Bunnings at Alexandria open yet? Their website still says "Open Soon"

    Nevermind, I found info on another page. Their grand opening is on Friday, 17th May.

      One of the staff at Mascot said 13th May. The gift card is valid from 15th May. So, when are they actually opening???

        I don't know, their website doesn't say anything other than what I posted above. And the Googles can't find anything relevant. I believe Alexandria is meant to be their new flagship store, and they're not doing a good job of promoting it.

        I guess it's possible they open on the Monday and do their "grand opening" event on the Friday.

    I have used the gift card at Alexandria. That shop is huge!
