no experience with gva brand tv's but thought it having only 1 x hdmi isn't attractive for me (have bluray, media player, wii). i would think this is on par with dick smith's brand tvs (which isn't very impressive tbh).
i would recommend soniq (jb's brand) instead. have this one at home and price has dropped significantly in 6 months. good screen quality (although a bit smaller than a 50" if you can live with this), 3 x hdmi port. however, the sound may be a bit tinny but have gotten used to it in time
