I opened one bottle tonight. It's closed at the moment, but certainly it is good in 5 years once the tannins soften a bit.

I'm not a connoisseur, but "closed" is not referring to the bottle, but rather the wine itself. It means that it is not overly aromatic.
It is good = it will be good.
Do you plan to keep your opened and resealed bottle for 5 years? Also, is this really a bargain or just a trend?

See my comment above. It's likely that the opened bottle has been completely quaffed and that he might keep the others for five years to let the tannins soften.
St Henri is normally around $80 to $100… . $66.99 is a bargain. Thanks for sharing: )
methinks ruotain may have drank the bottle just before posting
Lucky bastard….hic!
I wouldn't pay more than $85, but it is a great price below $75, and I'll be heading down to get a couple tomorrow, but I'm not sure about cellaring a screw cap and not sure I would have called the 2008 closed either.
The Penfolds site wraps it up;
Penfolds St Henri is a highly successful and alternative expression of Shiraz and an intriguing counterpoint to Grange.
St Henri is rich and plush when young, gaining soft, earthy, mocha-like characters as it ages.
I don't understand your comment at all?
